For now I’m using Squarespace for the site because I listen to a lot of podcasts while I’m working and their advertising worked I guess. They’re really pushing all this dumb AI crap so I’ll be leaving soon. For now, here’s what they’re doing with your personal info.

If you sign up for my newsletter, I (Sam Reed of Sam Reed Knives) will use that email to send you a newsletter that I personally wrote (NOT using an LLM). You can unsubscribe at the link at the bottom of the email or you can message me and ask to unsubscribe. I’ll never share your email with marketers or sell it.

We respect your privacy. This site is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace collects personal data when you visit this website, including:

  • Web pages you visited prior to coming to this website

  • Your IP address

Squarespace needs the data to run this website, and to protect and improve its platform and services. Squarespace analyzes the data in a de-personalized form.

When you buy something on this website, we collect personal information from you to fulfill the order. We may collect information like your:
